Campaign 1, the year is off to a good start

Happy Wednesday everyone, and happy first day of Campaign 2. So how did we do in Campaign 1?

Our group sales were $1964.66, so we were up by $508.73 over the previous campaign.


We started the year by moving in the right direction! Let's keep it that way and move on back up the Leaderboards, to where we were a couple of years ago. That's my wish for this year.

Share the promotions (I Cannot say this enough!) every first Wednesday of a new campaign. Schedule them to be sent to your customers at different times. let them know you appreciate them!

Share the codes from the Live events, and use them yourselves, to get free items in with your orders. Get savvy!

Share blog posts and the sweepstakes and coupon codes on all your social media. You never know who'll become a new customer!

New Year and off to a good start!

Can you believe it's already 2 weeks into this New Year? It's already whizzing by, and most of us have already started experiencing Wintry weather. Remember to stay safe, whether it's frigid cold or rain and storms. We had bad storms last week that flooded our local area, and my yard was like a quagmire. In a couple of days, we are apparently getting an Arctic blast and a lot of the country will be experiencing severely cold weather. It's a time to check on elderly relatives, neighbours and shut-ins to ensure they will be ok through this as well. I miss an open fire at times like this, but I don't miss the ash left over, nor cleaning out the grate!

Winter weather brings its own challenges for skin care and my big tip is MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE, MOISTURIZE! I can't say it enough. I'm 68 years old and am blessed with good skin. It's because I take care of it. Daily. 

People ask me "which moisturizer do you use?" and I'll tell them the different ones I have on my shelf, because different days don't always get the same treatment. Some need extra care. I have my basics, and then I have my add-ons. 

My basic go-to is Anew Ultimate Multi-Performance Day Cream. It has so many pluses, the first being that it's hypoallergenic,  because I have sensitive skin so I have to be careful what I put on my face. It's allergy and dermatologist tested and is free of oils, parabens, pthalates and sulfates. I love that it diminishes the look of lines and wrinkles, because (yes!) I have them! It makes my skin feel soft and smooth, and is an awesome basic moisturizer. 


Around my eyes, I use the Anew Hydra Fusion De-Puffing Eye Serum. What I love about this product is - again - it reduces fine lines around my eyes, as well as de-puffing them, moisturizing gently and helping protect the area against Wintry stresses. 


Lips are another area that Winter takes its toll on, and of all our lip balms, for me there's only one thing I use on my lips and that's our Anew Vitamin C Antioxidant Lip Treatment. It looks like a lipstick, goes on like a lipstick and is packed with vitamin C and vitamin E so it really moisturizes and conditions your lips, protecting against the damage that cold weather and winds can do. Who wants to deal with dry, chapped lips? Not me! I love it so much, I have one next to my bed for night-time use and one in my purse ... and since my hubby works out in all weathers, not only does he have one in his bedside drawer but also in his lunchbox for use while at work. I wasn't finished with him, either. I bought one for each of my 2 granddaughters here. Suffice to say, they like them too.

Being older, my neck and decolletage need extra care, and the best product I have found is the Isa Knox LXNEW Platinum Neck + Chest Cream to be THE BEST for keeping that area wrinkle free.


That's my everyday routine, and every time someone comments that I don't look my age, I tell them, it's because I take care of my skin. Somewhat oddly, I don't use a cleanser other than when I'm giving myself a facial! My everyday face wash is water and a washcloth. I have customers who love our cleansers and you can read reviews, on the pages for those cleansers, on my site. I've just used water for years so that's the wash routine I've stayed with. It works for me.

Who am I? 
I am a great-grandmother of 9 who has been disabled since 2006, and have never claimed disability but chose to sell AVON instead. It has made me friends with people I might never have met otherwise, and helped pay for vehicles, vacations, home improvements and household bills. It replaced the income that I had at my job in a call center before I became disabled and was unable to work for an employer any more, as I had to start working around my body's demands and fallibilities, instead. I am now in my 17th year with AVON, and still love what I do. 
I try to help people save money or get the most for it. That's been my premise since I began this journey. I have a team of over 100 people and do my best to help and support them in any way that I can. I love the opportunity AVON gave me when my sense of self-worth disappeared along with my mobility.

A New Year, and New Chances to Shine

I'm hoping this will be a better year for us all, 2023 was pretty tough, we all got jaded. Shortages, customer dissatisfaction with us - as though we were the ones responsible for items being out of stock - and then long waits for favourite items to come in again, all took their toll and played into a very difficult year for us business-wise.  I'm hoping 2024 will see all the issues resolved and help us get back to how we were.


Our top sellers in Campaign 25 were Jennifer Jarvis $775.57, Leann Chapman $297.41, and Paula Rodrigue $227.06.  

In Campaign 26, we had 2 - Jennifer Jarvis $545.13, and Folasade Akinwumi $164.45


Our online sellers in Campaign 25 were Jennifer Jarvis $318.97, Lisa Strasser $50.98, Carla Carey $33.96 and Josh Corteville $23.98.

In Campaign 26, we had only Jennifer Jarvis, with $251.70.
