I am excited for this launch!

I got some preview products and am extremely pleased with them. The 2 flavours are orange, and a lemon and lime. Both super charge your water with minerals, energy boosting B vitamins and immune boosting Vitamin C ... and one  a day is all you need!

The 3rd in the launch is a berry flavour, but I have not tried that one as I seem to have always had issues with berry flavoured chews, vitamins, juices etc so I cannot comment on that variety.

The first day of the next 365

New Goals for a New Year

Sadly, I did not manage to make President's Club in the 2018 cycle, and despite the disappointment, I know I did my best.

My periodic bouts of ill health played a huge part in that failure. When one's every waking moment is on health issues and trying to feel better, it leaves little room for the business of working one's dream. I have probably wasted 2-3 months of this past year worrying about trying to get my BP down from stroke level, or my heart rate to normalize from beating over twice as fast as it should be, or way down in the 40s and skipping beats at that level. In all honesty, my remedy was to simply take the pills, lie down and try to sleep.

Tomorrow will be the final day of the 2018 cycle, and then after 5pm begins the 2019. I am praying that 2019 is a better year for me and that my health stabilizes so that I can focus on doing what I love.

AVON has been an immense opportunity for me, and for 12 years, as my mobility issues caused my disability to fluctuate, it has kept me off needing to claim disability benefits, and offered me the chance to continue to contribute to the family "kitty".

I have been blessed to meet some wonderful people, who I would probably have never known, were it not for this business.

One of my best friends, locally, Glori, is amazing and I am so thankful to have met her when I signed up and joined her team in 2006.

Likewise, my 3 local team leaders, Jenn, Tina and Caroline have become great friends who I would never have known were it not for my AVON.

I am also thankful for my customers. Some have been with me many years now, some are newer, some intermittent. I am blessed by them all.

In 2019, I will strive, once more, to achieve President's Club.

I will definitely work my business as much as my health will allow.

I'll do my very best to support my team members and offer great customer service to my customers.

I will plan each campaign more diligently and work on better ways to get me and my business "out there", as they say.

And hopefully, next year I will have another Mrs Albee to join her counterparts on my shelves.

A Busy Monday!

Mondays are always a good day for me. I seem to be invigorated after the weekend, and the new week just seems to be a fresh start, a time of more possibilities. I start the week with renewed enthusiasm and my brain goes into overdrive on ideas and goals that I want to reach, things I need to share with my team, people I need to talk to and skills I need to polish up on, or (in some cases) learn and get a handle on!

It helps that I love what I do, although if anyone had asked me years ago whether I'd ever be an AVON lady or enjoy it, I'd have laughed at the very idea.

Back in those days, the local AVON lady dressed like an airline stewardess and carried a navy briefcase full of samples. I have never been a dressy person, I always smile and say I've been blessed with the poise and grace of a carthorse. Everyone loves the Budweiser horses, but nobody would enter them in a dressage competition. So, for me, that comparison was like me and the idea of being an AVON lady. Luckily, it's not like that any more and AVON is full of representatives of all shapes and sizes, personalities and talents, and I fit in very well.

Today I am designing and printing some label for a local fundraiser. I am trying to help a local lass raise money to be able to buy Christmas gifts for her family and friends. She is legally blind and has hearing issues also, so I am printing labels with the direct link to her fundraiser site so that the people she gives brochures to, can go directly to it and shop to help her. She'll be handing them out at her church, so I hope they give her a lot of support.

Later today, I have a delivery to a friend who lives close to me. I sorted AVON this morning (it was delivered to me on Saturday but I've been busy doing other things all weekend, with my hubby) and got the orders bagged up and invoices printed.

I am in the last campaign to be able to make President's Club this year, and again my bouts of ill health have impeded that journey. I am $2645 in sales away from making it, and I am disappointed as I only have until Friday with people ordering online, to make it, and Tuesday with my personally collected orders. I am feeling defeated. I'd like to be optimistic and say "I can do this" but I am honestly feeling that I have failed again this year.

I'm praying for a miracle but realistically feel that I have missed it for 2018, which is not a good feeling.
