A New Month, A Fresh Start

August bade us farewell and September has trotted in, in its place. Fall colours will soon be everywhere as Autumn brings the earlier nights and cooler temps, and after this Summer, I am sooo ready for cooler temps. I hate having to run the ac all the while because having the windows open, and letting fresh air circulate,means the house is like a sauna.

I've always had issues with the sun, I burn easily and sneeze when I'm out in it. So, summer's haven't really been a favourite season of mine as an adult. When I was young, I liked Summer. Much as I loved school, it meant Summer Holidays and time when I went away with my grandparents. Magical times. Now, it's just heat, obnoxious and obsessive, so yes, I'm ready for Fall, and am welcoming September with open arms!
