On The Journey to President's Club

One of the challenges, for those of us who want to "go for it" each year, is to earn the rank of President's Club with AVON. This signifies reaching sales of $10,000 within an annual (Campaign 1-Campaign 26) selling period, and offers we representatives some nice perks for doing so.

One of the perks is that our base commission, on any size order, rises to 40% (with 25% for fixed earnings items that are usually 20% for non-PC representatives). This obviously means that we earn more money! A very nice perk indeed!

Another is the ability or order 3 pieces of any item in the Demo book, the usual quantity being 1. Again this enables us to buy products at a cheaper cost than before we made PC.

This year, so far, I have sales of $1564 meaning that I am $8436 shy of "making it" as of now. I am pushing to close that gap over the next few months and will definitely keep you all updated. There is fun in "counting it down" and achieving that coveted level.

I LOVE my AVON discount

One of the more obvious benefits, and one that all of us who are AVON representative enjoy, is the discount on our own purchases.

Over the years, 75% of my wardrobe has come from my own AVON business. This has included pants, tops, cardigans, bras, jackets, slippers, shoes and pajamas. My favourite cardie is now probably 6 or 7 years old, and still going strong. Likewise my Winter jacket is a couple of years old, very comfortable and warm when the weather turns chilly.

I love scented candles too, so have umpteen of them around the house, and bought them all from AVON at a discount.

I have covered Christmas and birthday gifts from the wide choice of products we have, fashions and sterling silver jewelry for my granddaughters, toys, bathtime fun and pajamas for my great-grandchildren.

Even before I became a representative, I was in love with AVON fragrances, and that's still all that I wear - and numerous compliments of "oh you smell soooo good!" mean that they obviously wear well on me.

I'll probably be an AVON representative until I die ... I just love the products so much!

I am a big fan of AVON KIDS, and I but them all the time for my great-grandkids, especially when they are on sale! Apparently, they love them! That means I'm doing something right.

Although I don't wear make up,  I love it (for my customers who do) when we have our Glimmersticks on sale, as they are extremely popular. 

With my premise being that I love to save my customers money, or get them more for their hard-earned dollars, I do enjoy sharing when they are on sale as I know it helps my customers get even more value for their money.

AVON Kids Bath and Body Collection

Ever since its inception, the AVON Kids Bath and Body Collection has appealed to moms of children ages 2 and up. They love the fact that these kid-approved products that are made for play, and are toxin-free, are gentle on their children's hair and skin.

Tangle Wrangle Leave-In Conditioner & Detangler Spray

Sickness wasted away my January

They say "the best laid plans" and January certainly proved that to me. I had so wanted to get 2019 off to a good start with my AVON business, but hubby and I both went down with a harsh cold that lingered for 3 weeks, sometimes with fever, tremors and wracking cough, which exacerbated both my arrhythmia and elevated my blood pressure. Consequently, January was a bust.

I am hoping that February will help me get things back on an even keel, and back to being the AVON  representative that my customers know and love.

I apologise to all for my lack of engagement during January.
