Good morning wonderful people!

Happy Saturday!

I couldn't sleep last night, so got up and did some more "organizing" and turfing out. Imagine my surprise when I came across some old resources that I can use to help my team members now ... just have to organize my mind and plan on how best to utilize them.

Have a LOAD of empty boxes to take to the recycler, and half a trash bag full of stuff that needs to be dumped. I have PAPERS from 2002, I know IRS says keep 'em a few years but methinks 16 is a bit over the top! LOL.

The skies have come over cloudy and the breeze is stronger, making the leaves on the trees RUSTLE, letting us know that both Fall and Florence are on their way. I'm enjoying having windows open and fresh air circulating. It feels good.

They are saying the rainfall and stronger winds will come in later tonight. I'm not really looking forward to it, as my front yard becomes a quagmire, but that happens every time we get a good soaking rain, and this storm seems to be moving so slowly that it really is an soaker!

Thankfully we are on a rise, so it flows downhill to the field at the back, which is lower than the house.

Going to be busy today. Have to take some pics of items that I'm going to post on local sites, that customers ordered and failed to pay for. I try not to do returns. I so want to make President's Club this year and still need $4746 in sales and only 10 weeks to do it in!

Growth is a never ending process

Today I proved to myself that, with patience, I can master something that had confused and frustrated me for a long time. I finally got the hang of Zoom. It has taken me about 3 years to finally get it right, and now that I have, it was so simple! Nothing to be so worried about for so long. 

I made a decision about a week ago that I needed to do this. I want to be able to do team meetings and trainings, and this is the perfect medium. I'd been a guest on other's Zoom-ings so I registered and then joined one of their introductory webinars. I went back over what had been shown, and then took the next step.

I enlisted the help of my daughter, as a "guest" and set up a practice session yesterday, trying the mute and unmute, how to share my computer screen, how to set up the chat box and my daughter put up her hand to ask a question, and I looked to see how that came up on my screen. I actually had fun.

So, I told my team that I'd do a training session this morning at 10.30am, and I am quite happy at how it came out.

I'm really not comfortable with being in front of the camera, but it's something that - again - I will have to persevere with.

It's one more "skill" that I hope will help me be a better team leader, and enable me to nurture and assist my reps
